Posttraumatic Stress Disorder and Phobias

In the past, severe anxiety-related conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder or phobias were only considered treatable through long, often painful exposure therapy - and in some cases, not at all.

Hypnotherapy is a gentle, comfortable treatment that can greatly reduce, and even remove, traumatic or phobic symptoms, such as nightmares, flashbacks and seemingly uncontrollable responses to triggers quickly and effectively.

Possible symptoms of PTSD include:
Flashbacks and nightmares or sleep issues

Physical memories (smells; physical reactions such as sweating; heart racing, unexplained aches and pains etc.)

Memory issues

Keeping "busy"

Using drugs or alcohol

Being unable to trust anyone

Anger, depression, guilt, shame and difficulty staying focused

Examples of phobias that can be treated are:

Animal Phobias
Event or Situational Phobias
Fear of Death
Fear of Failure
Public Speaking
Social Anxiety
Fear of Germs (Germophobia)
Fear of Diseases

Fear of heights (Acrophobia)
Fear of Snakes (Ophidiophobia)

Fear of Dogs (Cynophobia)

Excellent results are achieved, even for lifelong phobias or severe trauma with
the proven methods and techniques used in my practice.

Client testimonial

Prior commencing a program with Nicole, I had never experienced hypnotherapy and was unsure what to expect. The purpose of wanting to try hypnotherapy is because I knew I had childhood experiences that I had not had closure with and it was starting to affect my day to day life and was experiencing low esteem. I knew the logic of what I needed to do but had a feeling of being "blocked" by something.
I had been to psychologists over the years and although brought some emotional and clinical relief, there was still this unsettling feeling.
I have been amazed by the results and inner peace Nicole has finally brought to me and I no longer look back at my past but get very excited about my future.
