I work with people who wish to increase resilience and manage stress more effectively. With advanced training in the treatment of anxiety and depression, I also have extensive experience with burnout prevention and intervention.
What is anxiety?
Anxiety is a general term for nervousness, fear, apprehension and worry that impacts our daily lives. It affects how we feel and behave, and can in many cases manifest into physical symptoms, as well as negative emotional symptoms including the following:
Sense of helplessness
Continuous negative thoughts
A sense of being less valuable, or needing to compare with others.
Mild anxiety is vague and unsettling, however, severe anxiety can have a serious impact on our daily life, and our physical health.
Often people feel a general state of apprehension prior to an exam, interview, test, during public speaking, or a performance and these feelings are normal. It is the body’s way of preparing us for peak performance, it would, in fact, be worrying if you were not a bit nervous!
Anxiety is considered a problem when it interferes with our ability to sleep, or function normally. Other problems can occur as a result, such as eating disorders, depression and substance abuse. So it’s very important to address anxiety as soon as you feel any symptoms, emotional or physical!
Physical symptoms of anxiety can be one, or all, of the following:
Shortness of breath
Shaking or even trembling
When you are feeling depressed, it may seem like nothing can help you, and nothing will ever change…
Depression, if not treated at an early stage, can be debilitating, and affect your overall health negatively.
Although, when you are depressed, you may feel like you cannot derive pleasure anymore from things you used to enjoy, you see everything through grey-tinted glasses. You may feel hopeless and a lack of energy now, however things CAN change for you.
Modern medicines may not offer you a complete and successful treatment, and chances of a recurring depression are more in such cases. This is the reason why many depression clients and their families have started opting for alternative treatment options that can offer better results. One of the popular alternative treatment options for depression is hypnotherapy. It has been found to be extremely beneficial to address the psycho-emotional causes of depression.
I work with you to gain control over your anxiety or depression so that your life can flourish again.

I used Nicole’s services as I was experiencing significant anxiety in my home and work life. I was suffering from a lack of energy even after sleeping the required hours and even lost interest in socialising and my joy for live.
Through only a few sessions with Nicole, I was able to stop that cycle of anxiety and stress. I am now feeling resilient, my mood and energy have improved significantly and I am able to enjoy life and calmly face my day to day challenges.
