Chronic Pain

The function of acute pain is to draw our attention to an injury, and in this way protect us from further hurt. As such it is essential for survival.

However, studies have shown that chronic pain can not only be caused by physical injury but also by stress and unresolved emotional issues. In particular, people who have experienced trauma and suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) are often at a higher risk to develop chronic pain and are able to feel pain more intensely.

Chronic pain is prolonged physical pain that lasts for longer than the natural healing process. Pain might stem from injuries, inflammation, or neuralgias and nerve disorders (neuropathies). However, some people suffer pain in the absence of any of these conditions (unexplained pain).

Chronic pain can be debilitating and impair one's ability to move with ease, and also hinder normal functioning. A search for relief can lead to pain medication addictions, which often compound the problem. Chronic pain is also often accompanied by feelings of hopelessness, depression and anxiety.

In my praxis, I use a process I call Brain Bargaining as well as Hypnotherapy to address pain. Both are gentle, comfortable treatments that can greatly reduce, and even remove, traumatic or chronic pain symptoms quickly and effectively.

Excellent results are achieved, even for lifelong old emotional or physical pain or severe trauma with the proven methods and techniques used in my practice.
